I found a guy locally selling 10 bags he had leftover after he sold his stove. I got 7 bags of chows and 3 bags of freedom fuel for $3ea. Just a small score but I was happy to find the chows! They burned really good in my stove the last time I had them. I just can't find good pellets around here anymore..
I haven't seen them anywhere here in NJ. Luckily I've found them on fb marketplace and Craigslist. I actually just scored a ton today!
Supposedly, Chows are now the GS Allegheny Blend....who knows. Liggie has too many mills now to keep track of. Who knows which ones they're coming out of.
Home depot's go to pellets are now GS's. As steve said, all are under the Lignetics Corp so one or maybe 2 of them are prob chows in a new bag.. Lignetics also took over Energex so there is that also. Energex used to distribute and probably made chows here in the Eastern area.
Very interesting! Thanks everyone! Guess this explains why the Green Supremes I burned last season and this season perform really closely to Chows. Perhaps they are!
