I've noticed that my saw, when fully sunk in a log seems like it is bogging a little. Also, I can sometimes hear and "feel" a slight miss too. Both air filter and screen have been cleaned. Remedy?? Turn the "L" screw a little counterclockwise maybe?
Otherwise the saw is running fine but just does not seem to be all there. Never have touched the carb in the 6 years I've had this saw and I am NOT even a shade tree mechanic.
So, men, I come to the FHC brain trust for advice.

Is it a MS362 or MS362C? If it is a 362 with an adjustable carb try backing out the L screw a 1/16 to 1/8 of a turn and see how it revs. The weather really affects how these little engines perform.

If some slight carb tweaking doesn't help, try changing the spark plug. You could have deposits on it adversely affecting ignition under load or the coil could be weakening a bit.

Runs like a champ. Took yall's advice; replaced the plug and did an extremely small carb adjustment and bingo. Turned the "L" screw counterclockwise. First was too much so came clockwise a hair and found the sweet spot. Plug looked a little burned but was not gunked up. Definitely needed to be replaced.
    Thanks all for the advice.

I'm wondering if the H may need an adjustment too. Does it 4 stroke?

It should be four stroking while at idle; am I correct?

The term is usually referring to full-throttle conditions.

Check out this video MasterMech made. Around 3:15 is when he starts the H adjustment. The saw should 4 stroke at full throttle no load. Listen how the saw sounds when he leans it out then listen how it sounds when he richens it up to where it needs to be.
