Been putting together a 90% free wood shed and I needed some siding. A neighbor had some pines dropped and I claimed some of the nicer stuff.

I am cooked. 1 log to go, should get me there.

Nice! Live edge nailed directly to the studs? Ive always liked live edge siding on old buildings. Be sure to post pics when its done.

James Miller That method of attaching the ladder for first cut is more precise for dimensional lumber.
Thanks for sharing cnice! You must have put a few gallons through the saw for that. What are you using?

My fault, I failed to post gratiutus saw pics. I was running a Mike Lee ported 385xp with 30" bar and Granberg mill.

3 boards a tank, 2 chains with one filing in between chains, and 21 boards so that's 7 refills and a very tired man.

I have one to go which should make sure I have plenty of siding. Gonna be old school rustic shed.

    Thats so cool…live edge siding…

You know how expensive that much wood would be at a lumber yard!
