so I haven’t even made it out this year yet to look for sheds. We bought a house today to flip. And went over there to take another look around. Walked out the back door and saw this laying only 10 yards away.

That's pretty cool, I usually look for them but sciatic nerves are keeping me from it this year so far. I have not found many and nothing of size. I did find a seven point skull and antlers last years. it was buried under pine needles I seen the tip of the horn sticking up.

Sean, thanks for the reminder. It is almost that time of year but not yet able to do much walking around in the snow. Looks like we may be losing it soon though so will try to get out. Need the exercise anyway so that is a good way of getting some walking time in.

Girls have been begging to go look for sheds. They were excited to see these and asked if we can go, so we’re headed out this weekend.

My son in law, daughter and granddaughter shed hunt. Granddaughter is 3 this year. Anyway, son in law has one side of a shed of a non typical as well as trail cam photos of a deer he killed for every year of its life. Kind of neat documentation on a mature buck.

    Nice!

I'm off to a good start this year too.

Found 3 sets (top two big sets and bottom spikes). 9 fresh ones (including my first drop tine) and the 2 older one on the outside. The top 4 sheds measure over 71" each with the biggest measuring 77"

WOW, nice finds. I'd like to be hunting and see them on the hoof.

Would love to too, but this is in a no hunting zone within city limits.

Wow, you guys have a lot deer around there. I've never found a deer antler. But I did find a one side of a Moose antler years ago while deer hunting.
