I've noticed a significant decrease in secondary burn in my insert. I'm hoping it just need a good cleaning with the shop vac to clear it out a bit. I hav'nt been able to vac it for awhile due to 24-7 burns.

Will a good clean and vac get the secondaries going again.

    Thanks FHC

Yes, a light wire brushing of the burn tubes then a vacuum will help. Be careful with the shop vac though. Use the proper filter. Or your wife will never let you forget that time when...

Yep, already got my backside in a sling for using the wrong filter inside... Won't be making that mistake twice!:heidi:

Warmer outside temps will decrease secondary activity.

Warmer temps outside or a change in fuel.
