    I believe that is a Morrill saw set.

    Even rip saws have a bit of set- maybe .0005 otherwise the blade is going to bind in the cut. that one bends the teeth out from the body the other method is swaged which is mostly for some circle saws and some band saw blades. Face of the tooth is mashed back to get the clearance.
