    I think when I retire I'll move to some place that has nice straight trees. That looks like a lot of fun with that log arch.

    I used to have a 9 to 5 (or more like 9 to 9) office job, which can put a real damper on the firewood hoarding. I'm too young to retire, but I'm self employed and work from home, so when I feel like cutting wood instead of doing the other kind of work, that's what I do. It's nice being able to do it at an enjoyable pace.

    I love this. Some people dream of a house on the beach. You dream of straight trees. May your straight trees not be the conifer variety, since they are straight but not always fun to split.
