    Hello
I just could not grin and bear it any longer!
So I cut off the worm and tattered material on the old Accentra Insert runners and replaced it!
    How does it look?

    Anyone else do this??

Wouldn't it be easier to simply put PTFE (teflon) tape down on the runners? Should make it much easier to slide the units out.

The Harmans are very heavy so I do not think the Teflon tape would hold up. I was thinking about silicone strips but I do not think it would slide out as well. I am not sure but I think the Harman material is too wide and it starts to tear and fall off. There must be better materials just have to try different things.

What do you replace it with? Is there a Harman part #?

Just so I don't kill another thread.....this is another reason why the 52i has rollers.....much easier to roll out as long as the upper shroud piece is installed correctly.....also, the tubes were changed from the old Accentra insert.....you know, that dang left hand tube that's long, turns about 5 or 6" in, and roughly 80% of the ones we service are plugged due to improper/infrequent cleaning?

How about the exhaust passage way that gets narrow and gets plugs with ash just before it enters the exhaust housing where the exhaust blower is in the back right?
Is the 52i the same design there? Does not look like it.
Not much room with the air adapter installed which I always install. :)
That silicone sponge docking gasket sure works much better than the GC60i docking rope gasket!
