    WOW!! How did they do that? It is so cute and little and light. But inside beats the heart of a much bigger saw. It is like a Ginsu Knife. It slices and dices anything up to 8-10 inches like it is nothing. It is such a smooth running saw. I buried it in some white oak and it kept on chugging.

    It is perfect for what I need it to do.

    Is this what the M-tronic saws are like? If so I know what my next saw will be.

    A smaller saw has a place in everyone's line-up. I think the go big or go home mentality loses sight of how great the lightweight can be.

    Yeah. They all run great. After about 5-10 tanks it will run much better. After break in they are an animal. :)

    I'm waiting for M-tronic opponents to see this and tell you why it's not good. I don't know enough about the technology or tune-ups to notice a difference. I guess if you run in hot or cold weather, the auto tune helps out a bunch.

    :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol: ;)

    It's not necessarily the m-tronic making it run so strong but it sure does help you get the most from it every time it runs. A bunch of Stihl's newer saws run strong. It's got a lot to do with them having more efficient induction cycles (better transfer port configurations) and the mufflers are not nearly as choked down as the previous generation.

    Told ya you was gonna like that lil bastard. :cool:

    Mine really woke up after 5 tanks...but it had 0 wow factor on the first tank. Now it is pretty much broken in...and pretty mean.

    Nice little cutter. I have considered replacing the MS250 with one someday.

    Yeah. The 441, 362, and the 261 all run great. Granted the 261 I ran was ported, but it was a machine. So much so, that I sent my 362 out to get ported as well :)

    I'm here.
    The same as an 026 and about 2oz less then a 346xp. (But with 10-15% less hp)

    I think you are thinking 261. This is a 241. 1 pound less 10.3 pounds. 2.95 HP. The 261c-m is rated at 3.9 HP 346 is 3.7HP. So more power actually?

    What is the 362 anti vibe like compared to a MS 390? Is it night and day? My 390 doesn't look great, but the last time I checked the compression was 170 and it is strong, but maybe the next move is to sell it and move to a 362.

    If you already have the 440, I don't think I would buy a slightly smaller pro saw. I'd be saving for a used 660 or something larger that may come along. You seem to have small, medium, and the medium / large bases covered pretty well with your lineup.

    Was the 441 the first upgrade from the 290? That is a big jump.

    Yeah I wasn't clear about what I meant :
    241cm =10.36 lbs, 2.95 hp
    026 = 10.4 lbs, 3.2 hp (leave the 2nd bar nut off and save .45 0z)
    346xp = 10.6 lbs, 3.7 hp
    All the newer saws seem to have a lower power rating for a given weight. The 241 seems like the modern replacement for the 026, one of my favorites. But the 346xp has a much better power to weight ratio and also springs like the 241.

    Still a discrepancy, the Husqvarna website says 11.2 pounds for the 346. Close to a pound more and this might sound crazy but weight was more important to me than power in this case.

    362 rides real good. I've never run a 390...but if it is anything like a 290 there's a big difference in AV.
