About complete Bunch of pin oak, walnut, sugar maple, and a few ash sticks to css yet. The place I was at had a log yard about 4 miles away. I got $2.50 a board foot for the butt logs of the walnut. Never sold timber before, was a nice surprise. I've brought home about 5 cord of wood so far. My FIL has brought home about 7. It's been a fun side job.
That's lookin awesome. That's certainly a bonus getting paid for the Walnut. That should at least cover the gas right?
Some nice looking firewood. The weathered stuff looks ready to burn. I think you should make it taller for more privacy...just sayin'!
I'll burn it next year. Its white oak from 2017. I'm a few years ahead. Also it's high enough the kids cant see into the neighbor's yard. And I cant when I'm sitting drinking wobble pops Just waiting on the trees to grow in my field at the other end of the fence
I had some loud drunk inconsiderate SOB next to the cottage that caused me to seriously consider building a privacy fence a few years back. He moved closer to the bar! I'm glad to see that this privacy fence thread is nothing like what we went through.
