Pellets had a really nice fresh cut wood smell when I first opened the bag. Pellets are darker brown in color and pretty consistent in length. They did feed well but I did develop a decent size clinker (hard and crusty) in the bottom of the burnpot. I did need to bump the feed rate slightly to get a good burn and once I did, these burned hot. Ash was at a higher volume compared to other pellets. It was coarse, and medium grey color. Fines were coarse and at a respectable ½ cup.

All in all I these burned pretty well. I do have to ding these for the ash and clinker. With that said I rate these 3 stars.
