Since money has been rediculously tight these days....I've tried to stay into the hobby anyway I can . I hit on something I'm really enjoying...The homeowner Poulan saws !
So I fugured I'd see what was out there ! I'm looking for the newer Poulan/Craftsman chainsaws . Mostly clamshell ..Preferably with anti-vibe.
    Anything Poulan Pro 220-260........2550...2775....2900..295......
Heck...I can never turn away a Wild Thing either lol !
Or would like to even try a mag case saw like a 2800...3000...3300...
    Might even like parts saws...

Use to have this Craftsman....But sent it down the road before I could check it out :(

I have a Husqvarna 142 I'd part with. It is a Poulan with Husqvarna plastics. It looks decent but I haven't tried to get it running.

Those run pretty good too. As long as the carb is good on them they have plenty of snot for a home-gamer special.

I have an older craftsman! I might have got it from you I don't remember anymore.  It works. Confession I forgot I had it in my shed with the pile of old saws  I had it fixed a few years ago then set it aside for new toys.

I have a PP500AV, and it has served me well for three years. I had a fuel line issue, fixed by replacing them. The carb is giving me a little trouble, but I think my last cleaning attempt got that. Blame that on the user rather than the saw.

It gets the job done. A little heavier than it needs to be, but it cost less than $200 (big box retail) and owes me nothing. If it were to fail today, I would buy another rebuilt on CL for less than $150.
