After loading the porch the last time, I missed looking off into fields. This go around I made sure to leave myself a portal.

(Heavy dose of Walnut, and some Oak leftover from the last porch load, which should be going into the stove around mid to late January.)

It is nice to be able to look out in the fields. Good for you making the window.

That is the same idea I plan on trying when making a deer blind out of firewood. Should work nicely.

The small stack through the portal visible in the second pick. Yeah the one covered with a tarp... Black Locust, was 16% last year when we split it up, saving it for the bitter cold Feb nights...:)

That's awesome! I should do that on the front porch - I usually stop when it gets as high as the window. I could go all the way to the roof if I did that..... :loco: :rofl:

I like the view you will have with the porch swing. I may need to add one of them :)
