Plum Wood?

    I recently acquired some plum and I was wondering if anybody has experience smoking with it? If so, what meats worked well with it? Here's a pic of some small splits I made to run over the bandsaw to chunk it out. 0102181650a.jpg

    Use it where you would use apple or cherry. Japanese lilac has a very similar smoke profile to it too.

    Hard to go wrong with any fruit wood on pork or chicken.
