I've let this oak go for far too long and I finally got the urge to stack it and get some more split, not many pics but I'll try to update as I go and hopefully I'll be able to get to the logs deep in the overgrown brush. This is also a little bit of last minute pallet macgyvering and hopefully I didn't screw myself these are 2 60" tall x 4ft (approx.) wide pallets screwed together, I'll put another one of these up and screw them both together, hopefully keeping it from falling over, I don't see much horizontal lean, so I think I'll be ok. I'd like to get a little more done night after night, I have so much stuff to do around here it's daunting to tackle with work, hobbies and play time and what not and of course the second night of stacking was cancelled because I'm beat after work, gotta start again tomorrow!
I feel your pain as im in the same boat sometimes. Nibble away and it will get done. Oh and if you finish can you swing by my wood storage? I have some areas that look like that i could use your help with.
Me to myself: should I go out and move some splits? Suuuure, not alot of heat or humidity today! Weather: noooope! First it sprinkled, ok fine, I'll wait it out, it stopped, first 10ft out the door and big rain drops bombed my skull...try again tomorrow!
