Been seeing it in the yard lately. A few years ago there was a doe running around that was 80% white on one side. This little guy is a twin but his brother and mom have no white. I need to get a decent pic with a camera. A cell phone at 60 yards doesn't do very well.

There's a full on albino running around on my BILs property. Saw it turkey hunting this spring.

Moose turn white when they are heavily tick-laden. This could not be the same?

It's mostly genetic for deer from my limited research.

I saw 2 albino together one time in Illinois. Sorry for the bad pic. This is a pic of the pic hanging on my wall. I lost the digital source of it. 1472037844398-1364830577.jpg

I don't think so. I saw the story about the moose on tv. Very bad deal.
This fawn looks very healthy. It has a well defined pattern like a paint or appaloosa horse, as did the doe I used to see. If I can get a good pic....

That was my guess. The genes are apparently in my area. It would be a genetic disadvantage (lack of camo) but they are neat looking. I won't be eating this one.

Piebalds are really neat looking. WE had one about a mile from us a few years back.

I had a piebald and an albino a number of years ago behind the house. Saw them a few times. Never heard of anyone getting them though. I'm sure I would have. I often wonder about them.

Yeah, bad luck is right! Especially when you post your success and then get persecuted by social media after the hunt!

Momma must consider her core area near your house. Enjoy watching it while you can. Some numbnuts will more than likely empty the gun to have that little thing as a tanned hide come fall.

Remember back in the late 80's while hunting in Lycoming County Pa. @ my buddies, there was a place not to far from his that was all fenced in and housed a goodly number of pie-bald and albinos in a preserve setting. Can't remember exactly where it was located having only visited it once. It was amazing to see the number of them there @ that time.

I saw three albinos together! These were wild deer that were being fed in someone's yard...(oxymoron, right?)
