Picked up a small double bit axe and a felling wedge at a sale for a few bucks. After cleaning I saw that the axe is a Hults Bruk made in Sweden. It is a cold stamped head made before 1988. and the font seems to indicate around mid 70's. The handle needs some TLC and the blades need sharpening. The felling wedge is about 14" long and has some indecipherable stamping on it. Cool item even if I can't read it! handb1.jpg handb2.jpg handb3.jpg handb4.jpg

The handle looks to be in pretty good shape. Felling wedge would sure be handy for opening a closed kerf.

HB cruiser is quite a find. Not a whole lot of cruiser axes, let alone Swedish ones, out there.
