Local grocer has been having perch fillets lately. I normally just pan fry most fish, usually batter-less. Looking to see if anyone has any favorite ways to make perch. Any luck broiling with seasoning? Other?

Freshwater fish needs seasoning. Something like that I would vote for seasoned , breaded and fried

I use Uncle Buck’s fish batter from Bass Pro shops. Can fry it in a pan or deep fry it

We eat a fair amount of fish and always have a few boxes of this in the cupboard. IMG_5201.jpeg They have a few different flavors. I’m partial to this one wife likes the original.

Haven’t ever broiled any freshwater perch as the Filets are small and I would be concerned they would dry out quick.

I use drakes after egg wash. Fry in a pan. Season with lawrys seasoning salt.
