Hello all, I'm the new kid on the choppin' block. You can find my intro here http://firewoodhoardersclub.com/forums/threads/a-newbie-hoarder-from-the-motherland.25399/ Park Life? The man, the electric buggy and a whole heap of green. I work in a public Park, North of the big smoke (London, UK) in a wee place called, Enfield. And during my 30+ years of service I have taken a few pictures along the way and will continue to chart my journey through green and pleasant park-land via picture and the odd word or three. I will share some of those pictures and thoughts with you during the course of this thread. Let's get started. Here is my electric vehicle. I gave it the name 'The Bob Mobile' as seen on the front of the buggy. The battery powered chariot come with an impressive collection of soft cuddly toys. Are the headphones for communication, or for tunes? I like the stuffed animals, makes your rig look friendly.
Hey, with all those stuffed toys, you could very well start a tradition of handing them out to the little kids you meet along the way!
If I started handing toys out to the local kids (without wearing a big bushy white beard and red outfit) I'd be arrested. That's the state of play now in this country.... but that's for another thread. Ho Ho Ho! Father BBmas
Park Keeper @ play. I'm centre of image beside Yellow hat. White water rafting...with and without the raft Out of six runs I left the boat 4 times! A man can't function properly without a decent cup of Coffee! Say hello to Dan, the Sprout Van Man. Dan, kindly makes me Coffee each and every morning just for bringing his table and chairs to him. Not a bad trade, me thinks BB
Yeah, nasty little gumballs. Had a place that was surrounded by these trees, they were jaw-dropping GORGEOUS in the fall. The light that came in my kitchen window was pink. But the gumballs--ouch!
A tree is for life, not just for firewood! I love 'em all, but love the flame red from this weeeeeee beauty above all others........ for now BB
