There was a solid hour of dryness to start the morning. Now the sprinkles start. Hope the hard rain holds off for a little while longer. I've got about another hour before I have to head to the office. Good luck everyone.
Rain started here. Just what we needed It was muddy to start with. Not a whole lot of action in my neck of the woods. Wet and windy
The rain held off until about 8:30, which was a lot better than I expected. No deer though. Oh well. Time to go to the office now.
From someone breaking it when it was younger? Little story..... Used indians to mark trails that way....the "trails" or trees were still there until a decade or two ago...full grown!
Since I got my buck in archery season I'm able to sit here in the shop beside the woodstove (70*) and gaze out the window. Just came back in from across the street and looked at my neighbors buck he got this morning. Sorry bear 1998.
Nice buck! You guys in Pa seem to really have some heavy horned animals back there. And, you've sure gotten your share of rain this year, so i've read. I live in the PNW and we are way down on our rainfall, they are forecasting a mild winter for the west coast. That's ok, i'm still cutting wood, lol. In fact i'm thinking about going over to my grand daughters place tomorrow and do some more tree cutting, and brush piling, why not, i really enjoy helping her, and she likes me doing it, ha,ha. I see fence building in the near future as well. But, i have to cut the trees first, don't want to drop any on a new fence.
