I noticed that my OWB was burning more wood than usual. I just replaced the door rope last year, Upon investigation I notice that the door frame at the bottom had some halfmoon shaped spots about a quarter inch deep where the air was leaking. My Nephew Brought his MiG welder and ran a bead of weld along the front of the frame then we ground it flat. It seems to be working much better. Just something to check on the CB OWB's. I tried pic's but they really didn't show it.
It is working well now loading the firebox about half full of various SS wood once a day. Last year I was loading it right to the top and would have mostly ash by the next day.
