    Strange... the photos of all of these beautiful cemeteries was there when I first did this thread... then they were all gone... then back again yesterday... and now gone again... oh well.

    My step dad, bless his heart, RIP. He passed away at 91 yrs. in 2010. He was a crew chief stationed in England in the war maintaining B-17's. He spoke about the planes that left........ and never returned. 8 men in each plane, and they would watch for them to come back after the missions. And so many never returned.:( The losses were horrific, but their sacrifices help win the war. We must NEVER forget.:usa::uk::salute:
