I am staying in a home in a warmer climate. In the winter here the owner uses this stove as a patio heater. He burns wood or coal, usually bituminous. There are adjustable air inlets both above & below the fire box, an ash removal door on the bottom, and a loading door on top. For the summer it is pushed in the coner out of the way.

I'm far enough off the Island that almost any direction I travel I would be getting closer to home...

No fire to tend, no reason to stay home.

No name or plates on it. It appears to be about quarter inch steel. All the owner knows is that it originated somewhere in France and traveled a bit before it wound up here.
