Wife wanted a picture of this maple that is just starting to turn, so I also included a couple of oak stacks and some other oak still to stack. fwiw, that is all white oak. 2 cord in stacks and probably at least another cord unstacked. In the background are some totes holding red oak, ash and maple. None of that will be used this year and this is not half of what we have on hand. Even though nothing got done last winter/spring, we still have plenty.

Some of our trees are turning colors but most are brown. It’s been really really dry here lately. There was a nice steady drizzle all day, the first we’ve had in a while.
Wife and I were in central NY last weekend. It was beautiful!

Don't you have a lot of oak there? If so,that would explain the brown and not much color.

Yes we do. But my maples dropped leaves with hardly any color at all. Typically have mounds of leaves to rake and clean up. I’ve been mowing over them and it turns into a dust bowl!

A road trip that far with The Buzzsaw? We’re gonna need a fleet of trucks. :)
