I've been pecking away at this for a few weeks now. It's a 5'x12' woodshed with a corrogated tin roof. Most of the materials I had and reused, the rest I picked up. Total cost $125. I'm going to put the upcoming years supply in here and rotate this onto my porch in October. I have 2 sites where my wood is stored so every spring I will just replace what was used in the winter. I hope this system works for me. I dedicated the woodshed to my recently passed boxer , Layla. I asked my wife to make a sign and today I put it up. Layla used to hang with me while I would split rounds, she'd find a shady spot and chill.
Nice shed and it sounds like a solid paln. You crafty guys make me feel so inadequate! I'm never sure which end of the screw driver you beat the nail in with! But for some reason, I can well!
Excellent work My IS heats my home. I really like the way you built that in the "corn crib" style which will aid in drying the wood. In addition it is high enough to save a bit on the bending and your back will appreciate this. The sign is a excellent finishing touch. Tell your wife she did nice work.
Wow! That...is...OUTSTANDING My IS heats my home And the shed looks awesome too! Like has been posted above, that sign really adds to the finish .... Looking at the opening of the shed, is left to right oriented east/west along the actual compass? Maketh sense?
I'm lovin' the shed! It sure looks well built and will serve you for a long time. That's a very nice dedication to a great old friend you had in Layla!
Nice shed, and I like the sign too. I may need to do something like that when Casper goes.......he's always outside with me, no matter what I'm doing.
I'm giving you points for making me laugh Eric. I was having a bad morning and you helped me smile. Thanks man
Nice shed and sign! You figuring about 3 cord of wood in there? 3.5? Sent from my SM-T280 using Tapatalk
That's a beautiful shed, and a great dedication to Layla. That's very similar construction style to what I'm planning for my wood shed.
Great looking wood shed! And your wife did a awesome job on that sign, too! A very nice touch to the shed!
