That's right fellas, this puppy has never seen wood. It was splashed with a bit of fuel at the dealer but never run. I'm familiar with this dealer and that is indeed standard op for them. You get the saw, scrench, T27 tool, owners manual and three extra chains. The saw comes with an 18" Rollomatic E bar in .325 .063 with the factory 26RM3-74 chain. One of the extra chains is a 26RS-74 and the other two are 68 links. I can resize the other two chains to 74 links but I will ship them separately as I will not be able to do so right away. I do not have any 26RM/RS in stock to resize these with. I can verify the saw runs/operates correctly if the owner so chooses. I wouldn't cut with it however unless he/she specifically asked me to do so.
I second that. I just received my 2153 that I purchased last week but would of bought this as it matches my creamsicles
Had I not bought 2 of these in the last 2 days? I would have. . Unless you trade lol Thought something like this was coming? (I have a hard time resisting 036 saws)
You know you want to! Then you can give me an honest side by side comparison of the 550XP and the 261C-M
A Stihl on my shelf ?? Not sure if im there yet ! Lol Seriously wish i could... A test between this and the 550xp.. Would be a great one !
I'll do the muff mod if you want, but I'd want to look into how much a stock saw will gain from it. My 261 was pretty stout after the first 5-6 tanks.
Sorry guys but this one is going back to its original owner. Seems as if things are looking better for him and he wants to keep his saw.
Well, this one is available again. Saw never left my possession and the owner has decided he will part with it after all. Act fast boys 'cause this one is going to hit AS if there are no takers soon.
