    Hello

The most popular blower for many St. Croix pellet stoves is the:
    80P20003-R

Since many of these blowers are mounted under the stove in a metal box like the popular St. Croix Hastings, the engineers had a fix for the vibration noise by gluing foam to the bottom of the blower.

I just got a new blower and there is No Foam!

So I pit in a strip of white lytherm which is high temp and a good cushion.

    What did you guys do?

I used a latex caulk not because I had any extra noise but I wanted to seal the blower to the stove. I can tell you that darn caulk is a really good glue!

OK. Does not have to be high temp stuff as the temp is not in that part of stove.Go to auto parts store and buy the "camper top" stick on tape, for toppers, very dense, works well.About the same as harman blower install insulation tape.Big thing to remember is do not tighten screws all the way down.Allow some flex to let the insulation work.Is not a permanent fix(but the factory install was not) plan on yearly service of your unit.

    Hello
This original St Croix Prescott did not have any vibration foam!
This St Croix Tangential Convection blower smoked making an electrical burning smell and then the internal thermal overload circuit tripped! After it cooled down when the stove was started again this blower made a very loud grinding sound!
So in goes a new tangential convection blower and in goes some white high temp gasket material for anti-vibration!
