I bought this trailer quite a few years ago. I used to use it to haul a quad around, then stack all my camping gear on it and head out. But with better options now, we have been using it for around the house hauling feed and such. Recently , I have been using it in the wood lot. It works great if I have rounds or logs that are across the yard, or in the pasture. I can split and throw right into the trailer, then haul the trailer to the stacks. Way easier to stack off the trailer than double handling it or stacking off the ground. This also enables me to dump wood in the horse pasture and give me more room where I stack and sometime process wood. Now it doesn't matter how far the wood is away from the stacks as I can just haul it there. Previously before the sideboards, I would loose split wood off the trailer when hauling it. Now I can get twice as much wood on the trailer than before. I've been wanting to do this for sometime. I only had short 6" sides on it before.
That looks very useful. Is it pretty much the same width as the ATV? That's the key to using a trailer in my woods.
Without a doubt that is going to be real handy especially since you put the taller sides on it. Nice job.
Should know maybe next week when I can get out there and split some wood. It's cooler tis week, less than 200 degrees, but it has bee up to 115 degrees last week and almost everyday over 100. Way too hot to do wood.
