Got a project I'm fixing to start on. Might be calling on some of yall's expert advice to help get it right.

This saw belonged to my PaPa ( he was one of a kind. Moonshiner, logger, and a bunch of other stuff we probably don't need to mention) and it breaks my heart to see it just sitting. Hasn't been ran in a few years so I know it's gonna need a carb job. If I remember right it has points on it but I think they can be swapped for another models electronic ignition.

Amy advice or tips will be greatly appreciated!

There is nothing wrong with points. Clean them up or replace them. Once set saws will run for years with out any problems.
