When a new member registers, can we have a indicator to show which part of the forum he registered. Lets say he/she has a pellet stove and/or wood stove by having a colored avatar name to indicate which section he/she has chosen. It would make the member more identifiable to say Happy Birthday or to welcome him/her. If registered in both pellet & wood to have the avatar name split color. It just a faster way to recognize members in which forum sector he's coming from. There might be other ways to indicate the member registering choice and I only suggested one. When registering you can have a selection check boxes for choice of appliance.
Some people are here that don't burn at all. So it would have to be a rainbow of colors and more questions upon arrival. Some come for just Chainsaw, just firewood (sell or cut for friends and family), some just chainsaw, some just food, some for Hobbies, some for hunting, and some for just, well, because this is a great place to be!! Not to mention, there are other Biomass options out there. Coal, Nut shells, Corn, etc.. I'm not saying it's impossible. But not everyone is here because they burn a biomass. I figure it is best to just Welcome everyone equally!!
It's just when you see the birthday announcements, you're there trying to figure out who's who. I just want to make it easier by being more visible! I know we're one big family but some do not venture very far from the nest.
Maybe our one and only Grizzly Adam can make it more "bigger" noticeable so when the birthdays hit, they are seen clearer. He's the GURU, I'm sure he'll come up with something!
