Needed some new chairs for around the fire pit, figured I could do a better job than the ones they sell at Lowe’s or HD. My dad was in town also so we needed some sort of project to work on. The first one took a couple of hours to build, needed to figure out a design and angles but after that we knocked out the next three in about 30-45 minutes each. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Good question!! I’m not real sure, I would like to stain/paint them I’m just not real sure how long I need to wait with treated lumber? I’ve heard I need to wait a year but I don’t know if that’s true or not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
PT lumber 1 year. Most are swamp dried, stain because it soaks in do not need to remove old to re coat..
mark.nowak Both the chairs and the patio look great. I have always loved stonework and Adirondack style chairs!
Thanks, I can assure you that many cold ones will be consumed in these chairs! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
nice looking chairs On stain sealer front most PT you should wait ~6months if you want to paint. There’s a product called woodlife sold in both coppercoat for ground contact and classic for furniture your local Ace may carry it and can be applied now to prevent fungal growth in all the exposed end grain
Thank you very much! I appreciate it, I will definitely look into the woodlife product. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
