When I was in paramedic school. My cardiology teacher would play "name the dog" with us. He'd put a cardiac rhythm strip on the board, and he'd randomly call on students to properly name/diagnose the rhythm or arrhythmia. I though it might be fun to put some wood on here and see if people can name it. So, this is not a method to help ID wood. But rather - you already know what it is, and we can see if others can guess what it is. Feel free to post your own, to see if people can name it!
Probably cedar of some sort. If it’s red inside I’d have called it western red cedar before, but you people have taught me that it is actually a juniper. If it’s the same tree we have around here, it is pretty much considered a weed.
