My first post…. I have just been watching for a while. My oldest son and I went and picked up some Black Walnut that the power company had cut down this past winter and cut up some Cherry and Ash that a storm blew down this spring. The rest of the kids helped with the splitting and stacking in the barn.
Great pics, Transplanted Live Oak! Glad you joined up... I'm sure you know how fine this forum is already!

Nice Job and looks like a great crew! Did you spilt that wood before stacking it in the barn or are you just stacking it to split it later?
Already mentioned here but anytime and anything done as a family and positive results can be seen teaches the children what working together can create. Welcome. Great looking family and remember you are just passing on what you learned and they need to know.
Welcome, best way to teach young people about work, and it will serve them the rest of their lives....
Nice looking wood you have there! A lot of it too.... I love to see your working those kids, it's good for them and it will make them good workers as they get older.
