Seen this on marketplace and could not resist posting. Anyone looking for firewood or wood for a project? Come and get it; take what you want. Need the entire tree gone asap.

We have one much like that too...would sure hate to lose it though, the tree provides some nice shade, and awesome color in the fall!

My neighbor across the street had 2 Norway maples just like that taken down last week. I was almost ready to inquire about the wood but it seems someone came and got it all over the last couple days. Fine by me, yard trees like that require a lot of noodling.

And it’s been up since mid Sept last year. People are delusional if they thing someone will remove a problematic tree like that for free.

    Unreal

Little bit of wood burning trivia...limb wood is generally higher BTUs than trunk wood...

Yeah the trunk wood on Norways can be some gnarly twisted stuff. Limb wood of all sizes is usually straight and splits easily. My score of it back in January i left the gnarly trunk but took the rest.

So when are you going to cut it down rusty ranger 44? :D Lots of wood there. :saw:
