    A friend of mine needed some Maple trees and a dead Ash cut down. They were of a decent size and this is the reward. Still have to split it but a nice score and got to help a friend and spend some time with him as well. I just love everything about firewood.

    Pretty sure it’s sugar maple too. Splits like a dream, might not even break out the splitter for this... although we’ll see.

    It doesn't look like red maple, so hopefully it's a high BTU maple.

    That’s all of it. Two of the stacks are only showing about 1/4 of how long they are. I was going at it yesterday but I ran out of daylight and the rain slowed me down. But it is good stuff!
