Last night I made up a marinade for chicken thighs on the fly. And it was a keeper, really good. My family loved it. Trouble is I didn't write down or measure any of it. I just opened up the fridge, found a lemon and the soy, opened the herb and spice cabinet and added whatever I thought might taste good. 2 hours later after dinner I wrote down what I remembered putting in it. Hopefully I remembered it all so I can come close to repeating it.

Aargh, I hate it when that happens.

I used a lemon, soy, garlic, white wine vinegar, franks red hot, white pepper, black pepper, sugar (in the raw) sumac and I think tarragon.
