Maybe we'll get a street legal version of the utv.
Or this will help pave the way for more secondary road use.

It appears to be an old-school Jeep, equivalent to the old CJ-5 platform. Same look, very basic off-road design. Mahindra has made Jeeps/Willys & lookalike/equivalents for 60+ years, this is just their foray into US Manufacturing.

I think there would quite a market for a street legal UTV-I'm thinking something like a 1980s Toyota pickup truck, with true 4wd with manual locking hubs, wouldn't need much speed, kinda of "Jeepish", dump bed, good ground clearance, priced around 20k-don't know if it possible with all safety mandates, etc.

The safety mandates of airbags and all that would pose to be an issue I would think.

Just think of all the BS polaris had to deal with when they put a steering wheel on the 3 wheel trike instead of handle bars. What a pita.
