A big tree but also lot of work !!
Haha,,,Guy with the ball Cap on looks like Jeff from Moonshiners..Lo...
I can definitely relate to big trees being a lot of work, just finished a 50’+ elm with a 56”stump last weekend.
Each round sure creates a lot of firewood though!!!
Good size splitter you guys have there and a truck load of wood. Looks like you might be making several trips.
Oh that must have been a real treat splitting that
Nice stuff. I am thinking about wrestling some 30" plus ash rounds out of a yard today....about a 50 yard haul out. Handtruck will definitely get a workout.
Nice work guys! Big trees = big work=lots of splits!
Ya get used to it I guess...
I blew my back out a couple of weeks ago moving some 30" ash rounds. I'm just now back to where I can be productive again. Like the man on t.v. said: "Let's be careful out there."
Ouch....I just about blew my arms out today and yesterday. Get better, lots of heat and some movement. Good thing my 6'2", 260 lb son came along today to swing the monster maul and help pull the hand truck.
old iron , with a push though splitter, how close sis the pieces come to the rear bumper/ tailgate?
I'm sure the log lift was appreciated, I know I'd love to have one of those.
I split like that once......Dad's truck had the dent to prove it.
Whoa Ralphie Boy. Take it a bit easy now. You don't want to go there...
it probably has 10" usually have tractor hooked to it but this blow down was at another place,I added the lift a few years ago sure is handy
