Unless the commenter is using solar, wind, or hydro to electrically heat his house, then he is also contributing to CO2 emissions. As well as methane. I hardly think the 3 cord of wood we burn per year compares to the slash n burn practices going on in the rain forest, or the natural wildfires that occur annually around the world. What about the CO2 emissions from global trade? Seems there's no shortage of people with an axe to grind, or something to complain about.
