For the next week or so....maybe longer. Looks like we have a warm-up coming and they said possibly warmer than normal temps at the end of the month.

Right on ! no blowing freezing cold wind to deal with just some precip. Time to rid the stash of some more of the dreadful MWP /TSC rebagged pellets to make room for some better roasting ones ! Nice to finally run the Ghetto stove on something other than WIDE OPEN and see how it works on lower settings so far so good. Toasty in the house well 70* is major toasty for this old house and the wife is happy. Happy wife happy life.

Soooo, being a pellet newb, I guess the light 1/2 dozen bags I got from TSC are bound to disappoint, eh?
Of course I have no point of reference on how the machine works ( still need to install it- waiting on a 45° elbow to arrive, for the corner install), but I guess ya burn what ya got!
Where do y'all shop pellets? Stove dealers? We have a Lowe's in town, TSC, but then 45 minutes to HD... and that's about it.

Not necessarily buddy depending on what stove you have , just might require more maintance as is in my case and depending on the price might be worth it. There is a post by JT I believe listing all the UPC codes and what they might be maybe check it out and report back and perhaps we can give you an idea of what to expect .

Time to hit the hay myself but a great bunch of people here !!!!!
Believe it or not it has a lot to do with what your roasting your pellets with , with my ghetto stove I can burn anything and I think it is the same with the elite stoves made by Harman .
Good luck man I am sure you will be happy if your a previous cordwood burner .
    Cheers

Not necessarily ,TSC pellets vary by region . They will ship from the closest supplier to keep costs down . Eric you will prolly get Lig's [ Lignetics ] a big pellet plant in WVA . Well thought of here

The TSC MWP's (white bag, blue lettering and appropriate bar code - see Luney's post for a link) run awesome for the P61a. Very little ash and better than decent heat. If I didn't have tons of firesale pellets in my yard, I would pick up a couple tons of them.

However, if the TSC barcode is something like NEWPs, then be ready for lots of ash. I still got decent heat out of them so I guess it depends on how much they cost versus what else is available to you. If the code is for Curran's - ooh, I feel sorry for you

Like Luneyburg said, depends on your stove and set up - works great for some, not so good for others.
