I'm trying to find a book on "trees of the Adirondacks". Does anyone have one or know where I can find one? Thanks in advance.

A book by that title or a book that will help you id trees in the 'daks. If the latter, then the Audubon book is a good one.

"Trees of the Northern United States and Canada" by John Laird Farrar is pretty good. It's very complete for the native trees in our area; really good descriptions and pics of bark, leaves, winter buds, etc, so it's helpful even when you're trying to ID in winter.

I think I heard Virginia Tech put out a good one.
