I just scored 8 bags of Lignetic Green Supremes at Safeway grocery in a close out of $3 a bag. I didn't really need them but that's cheap heat.
I'm surprised of the moisture content for these Idaho pellets. I bought the Cascade Softwoods. Home Depot green supreme lignetics?
Biomass Magazine - The Latest News on Biomass Power, Fuels and Chemical. I used to live over there. It should be dry as hell.
Anybody still burning? I got a hopper full of these cheap bad boys that start burning about 2 a.m with the auto mode set.
So obviously heat demand has really cut back here but I've been able to get in about 4 bags of the Liggies. They burn fine and at the price I got 'em for -- I'd buy 'em again. But they put out a helluva lot more residue than Olympus or Bear. I would never buy a pallet of them if I had a choice.
