Typically a very consistent pellet every year but always had a higher ash volume than some other brands for me.

Thanks, I get high ash build up with the Lacrete's, so being these have a hardwood mix I was thinking and will
give them a shot. Not cheap At 6.50 per bag........

I love LaCrete's and in my experience I give those a nod over the Ligs...

Indeed, I like LG's but the dealer is 30mi one way from me. Seem to leave a nasty film of soot behind
my burn plates, not a big deal but not easy to clean. Ahhhh down to +7 now, trusty peerless boiler
    just came on......oil-fired mind you.

Just finished last years stock I had of these. 35 bags lasted me almost 2 months. I typically get month and 2 weeks on a full ton burned, so I do burn less with Lignetics. For me, they were a great cleaning burning pellet with high heat. To me the ash is on the low/medium side. I have noticed that the local stores that sell them, the labels show additive of vegatable oil. Mine had no additives. I prefer all hardwood kind. When I purchased the dealer said they were all hardwood but they werent. Always a fan of Lignetics though.
