This finally came in today (they had a 5-6 week wait time due to high demand)! Had to drive a couple hours to the closest freight depot to pick it up but it was worth it. The forks did a decent job however the grapple is going to make life a lot easier in the woodlot! EA 60 Inch Wicked Root Rake Grapple.
You'll love them both and the bucket will get very lonely sitting in the weeds. No more estimating the c.o.g with the grapple!
Looks awesome!!! I don't think that I've ever heard a bad word about Everything Attachments. They really seem to stand behind their products, and of course the free shipping doesn't hurt.
I've been looking at grapples for a long time, and there are some good companies out there, but EA always seemed to be at the top. Every time I spoke to them on the phone they knew what they were talking about and answered every question I had. I also ordered a york rake from them a few weeks ago and am very impressed by the quality. And you're right, free shipping is awesome (I'm at the very edge of their free shipping radius and have to drive 3+ hours round trip to pick things up from the freight forwarder but that's no sweat).
Nice!!! What size rake did you get? Is it a 6' or 7'? For my NX, i got a really good deal on a used Landpride 7' rake with wheel kit. One of the handiest attachments I own.
I went with the 6-footer because a lot of areas I have to work in are snaking around trees. I would have liked a 7' rake so it covers more area when angled, however most of the work I'll be doing is with the rake straight and six-foot works perfectly.
