    IMG_6744.JPG Hey friends. Just picked up a ton of Heartland pellets at my local Ace for 260 bucks. It's not a terrible price. And if you haven't burned Heartland pellets, I suggest you try them. They are my absolute favorite. They burn noticeably cleaner and HOTTER than any other pellets that I've burned.

    Hope you are all staying healthy and happy.

    Edit = I didn't realize that it's actually spring when I posted this:whistle:

    We prefer Heartlands too!! Our Ace carries Rocky Mountain Pellets :doh: After covid we should pool up $$ to send a bag to a tester here like jtakeman .

    Yeah. I just finished burning a bunch of Rocky Mountain pellets, that I got a screaming deal on. The Rocky Mountains just don’t put out much heat. Now that I’m back to burning Heartlands, the heat difference is amazing.

    That looks like 1.2 tons. 12 layers x 5 bags per layer x 40 lbs per bag? So $260 for 1.2 tons? Nice haul!!!

    Yeah, it was 60 bags. 2,400 pounds. That’s how the Ace up here sells “a ton” when you ask for one. It is a pretty good deal:D

    Ha ha. Thanks for noticing the lack of squattage! It’s a 2500 Ram to begin with. Plus, I beefed up the rear end with a Timbren system about a year ago. It’s amazing. That truck is rock solid.

    Yeah, buddy! A Timbren system is cheap and will basically give you all the payload you want in any size truck. I mean, be safe about it. But it will turn your pickup into a TRUCK.
