This drives my mind nuts.. We love the kindle except for one thing.... Erasing words WHY does it insist on inserting a word as I am erasing a word? (seriouslseriouslgy) i did right there to show you?

I have turned off every feature on the keyboard yet it always does this what am I missing?

Ok so I just tried it on two other forums, word docs and a few other places. It only does this on FHC which is where it always drives me nuts.

Grizzly Adam any idea what would cause that?

It also randomly adds spacing between words.

I just remembered that I use the GBoard (Google keyboard) instead of the standard keyboard. If you have Google Play inststalled you can try that one. Perhaps that is the reason for my life of bliss.

Funny how much stupid user interface things can annoy. When I first got the kindle, it had a bug where if yuo opened a "folder" on the home screen, it would go into editing the folder name. If you then hit any key, it renamed the folder. (I am not sure folder is the right name for what I am talking about, I mean where you can group the program icons together on the home page.)

At least they fixed that one quickly. I was ready to burn the stupid thing.
