Stoveaclause is known for his ability to grill and smoke meat down here on Long Island BUT he also puts ketchup on hot dogs. I’m curious about your take. An informal pole

    I SAY NAY

Hot dogs in a bun are an EXCELLENT ketchup delivery system. Now I'm hungry!

Fake news. I've never had a hot dog with ketchup. I'm a straight up spicy mustard guy. Gulden's is the preferred but Ill never turn down some Boars Head.

Hot dogs are meant to be served with ketchup and onions.

Bratwurst I can go either real mustard ( not that yellow garbage) with a little kraut, or ketchup and onions if real mustard isn't to be found.

I only like that yellow mustard hidden in potato salad or mixed in as an ingredient. That stuff is plain nasty otherwise.

Quite a few places in my area get upset if you ask for ketchup on a hot dog. I do enjoy Chicago style dogs, but every now and then I put ketchup on mine. Brats only horseradish and onions for me.

No ketchup here. Mustard (Yes the yellow stuff) onions, relish or bread and butter pickles.

I gotta add there's a mustard called Stadium Mustard from Cleveland that is the best spicy I've ever had on a dog.

Any "meat" that must be ground up and stuffed in a casing in order to render it edible still isn't. Ketchup is a perfect accompaniment.
