    ...I am glad it only comes once a year. Horse radish makin day that is.
    Decided to dig up our HR patch today and get ta grinding for yet another years worth of internal heat. Got about 10 pounds of root and the wife and I started in on the peelin and grinding. I don't add much sugar or vinegar so this stuff is almost lethal and all jars are labeled accordingly.

    My sinuses are totally cleaned out and my tear ducts sure get a work out every year doing this.

    I can readily remember my grandmother doing that..................and that was 50 years ago.:bug::jaw::bug:

    I throw some in a shrimp dip recipe. It adds a nice little kick to it. Good on baked beans too.
