    Hello
It is a few years old so I got it cheap which is better than the price of a brand new one. It has the dust collector and bag just missing the flex hose.
This unit is made by Trinco Model 24 BP
Anyone else have something like this?
I can hookup my DeWalt 200 PSI compressor to it and bingo, it should work,

A small blast cabinet...nice...handy to have...see em all the time on CL, but too much maintenance for the little I would use it ...there are several around that I can borrow (use) whenever I need to so...

I have one so old,it only uses a layered cloth bag for collection, lol. If you can,I would recommend running the hose outside, and put the collection unit outside.

    Hi Bob
This is the filter bag, collection motor and collection barrels. I ordered the straps to hold them together so I cannot do it just yet, but it seems like it will contain all the dust. This unit is still made today, so with the new motor & filter bag it should work like brand new.
    We will see? :)

Ya,that should be a good unit.My poor old one is in shed, haven't used it since quit being a mechanic. If you cannot put the filter unit outside, perhaps you could put a hose on the can unit to the outside? Reason i say this is because even the filters leak very fine dust,a no-no in an automotive shop that rebuilds engines.Anyway, you will be very happy with it.You can use all kinds of media, sand, nut shells, glass beads, etc. If you mostly doing rust removal,I do not recommend glass beads, too expensive,as they crack and go away fast.Oh,you will also need a very big compressor to run it,unless you are fine with cleaning for a bit, then waiting a bit.

I'd start with sand as its cheap-cheap-cheap. Steel shot would be my 2nd choice. Much more $$ though.

Walnut shells for thin material is also handy to have around.

It doesn't have the silicosis dangers of sand. About the same otherwise.
