I don't do creamsicle. I mean I repair them but they are not my favorite saw to build, too much German in them!

I prefer the red and orange saws as well. All the creamsickles Im interested in right now are New models at or coming to the dealers in the near future.

Ha Ha. I dont sell Red saws.:loco:  Close as anyone will get to owning the 2153 is watching this......

    It's funny, my first pro saw was a 10mm 044 I bought when I was 18.

I traded it to Mike Mdavlee for the 2153 when I got my Husq 288 and converted to my new found faith "Husqvarna/Jonsered". I have since owned a 12mm 044, a minty 064, a 261cm, and currently still have a 241cm. I shouldnt have sold the 10mm saw..... that said, Im having a hard time getting attached to the brand again. They are not only the easiest to sell, but also the easiest to part with as well.
    Isnt CAD fun, Guys?:dennis:

No all of the winter 2011/2012 saws are gone. I have another batch in the oven for spring 2015. I'm an old guy and only do what I can in the time I make to do it. Getting very hard to find decent saws anymore but I have a few orange ones saved up for winter. If youhave never run a 288XP or a 'lite' you have something to look forward to.

+1 Dex told me about the minty Husq saws that Killians was offering here.... and that is what brought me to FHC- specifically to find 2 series Husq saws. That said, it is such an "easy going" place to hang out. I havent been in a single thread where I thought tensions were "high" or members were being "disrespectful" to eachother. Coming from the drama of Anothersite.com, it has been a very nice change of pace.

The 288 XP or Lite are awasom saws. I have one that I use for really big wood and stumps. It still never ceases to frighten me when running it. Bryanr2, if you can find one look for a 272XP West Coast edition. Not made for very long but IMHO they were the forerunner to the 372XPW. Adaquite power in a very nimble package even with the full wrap!

I have one. Not the West Coast version.... but it's a very clean ported 272xp I got from Randy. Other than the wrap, were there other differences between the xp and the West Coast Version?

Here is mine.... Randy took it in on trade (guy said he couldnt get it running right). They worked out the trade out in a public thread..... and I put it on my "watch list". Then it went up for sale.... and I jumped all over it. They are fantastic saws. I know the weight is a little different.... but my 261cm felt and looked more bulky than this saw. Other's mileage may vary. I am proud to own it.
